Sydney desalter construction reaches halfway point
Construction of Sydney’s 250,000 m³/d Kurnell seawater desalination plant is just over 50% complete, D&WR has been told by Sydney Water. The intake and outlet tunnels were completed in December 2008.

Membrane housing expert Doug Eisberg has joined Energy Recovery Inc as product director. Doug worked for 17 years at Advanced Structures Inc, the makers of CodeLine (Pentair Water) pressure vessels. He was also the founder and president of Protec (Bekaert Progressive Composites) membrane pressure vessels.
