Membrane housing expert Doug Eisberg has joined Energy Recovery Inc as product director. Doug worked for 17 years at Advanced Structures Inc, the makers of CodeLine (Pentair Water) pressure vessels. He was also the founder and president of Protec (Bekaert Progressive Composites) membrane pressure vessels.
Eisberg is a director of both the International Desalination Association and the American Membrane Technology Association, and sits on the D&WR Editorial Board.
In another move, H Larry Pelegrin has been appointed by rival energy-recovery company Pump Engineering Inc to the position of vice president of marketing and sales. Pelegrin was most recently in a similar post at Hydranautics, and before that worked for US Filter and Du Pont.
