01 Nov 17 by desalination

Italmatch Chemicals has acquired Sudamfos Do Brasil, a leading Brazilian distributor of phosphonate, phosphates, and other speciality chemical products, through new company Italmatch Do Basail Partipicoes.
The takeover reflects Italmatch’s international growth strategy, and follows its acquisition in June 2016 of US-based Compass Chemical International.
“This new acquisition signals our entry into Latin America, a market of great interest and potential, and we will benefit from the know-how and local experience of Sudamfos. The transaction is a further milestone in our internationalisation strategy,” said Italmatch chief executive Sergio Iorio.
