Pall Water has won an order from Los Angeles’ wholesale water agency West Basin Municipal Water District, to expand its Aria FLEX filtration system by a third, and additionally to supply to two Aria FAST mobile membrane filtration units.
West Basin produces five different recycled waters to meet the specific needs of municipal, commercial, and industrial customers.
As well as extending the Aria FLEX system, it will now add two of Pall Water’s modular low-pressure membrane trailer units Aria FAST, to treat two million gallons a day (8,000 m3/d) of ozonated secondary water originating from the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant, for industrial and potable use. The feed water has highly variable concentrations of solids and organics.
