German membranes and modules specialist Microdyn-Nadir has acquired US speciality membrane company TriSep Corporation, enabling it to offer a wider range of filtration products.
“This is a strategic purchase to increase Microdyn-Nadir’s capability to service the water treatment and process separation markets in the US and worldwide,” said chief executive of Microdyn-Nadir Walter Lamparter.
Microdyn-Nadir has a strong reputation for customising solutions, and has already worked in partnership with TriSep over 20 years. The deal will boost Microdyn-Nadir’s offer to customers particularly by adding TriSep’s speciality, downstream purification of effluent with reverse osmosis.
Peter Knappe, president of TriSep, will continue in a leadership role as managing director.
Microdyn-Nadir is a business unit of Mann + Hummel Group.
