Clemson University desalination collaboration signed
Water Enabled Technologies LLC (WET) of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina, USA, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate in a joint research effort to develop existing and future products in the field of water desalination.

BEL Group Ltd announced in mid-May 2010 that its subsidiary, BEL Composite industries Ltd, had been contracted to supply its composite pressure vessels (desalination membrane housings) for the 60,000 m³/d Vasilikos Power Plant seawater desalination plant in Cyprus.

The European Union has given a € 3.4 million grant to a Dutch water board and membrane supplier Norit X-Flow for development of an innovative concept for municipal wastewater treatment.
