Water Planet has sold its MembranePRO Services business to private investors.
Arian Edalat, vice president of engineering at Water Planet since 2011, becomes president and general manager of the new company, which will continue to operate as MembranePRO Services, based in California, US.
MembranePRO was Water Planet’s “legacy business of selling, operating and servicing water treatment systems that gave rise to our IntelliFlux automated control software, and served as a proving ground for our PolyCera membranes,” said Water Planet chief executive, Eric Hoek.
“This move enables us to focus on growing our flagship products, and continuing to develop other disruptive technologies,” he added.
MembranePRO Services provides analytical and testing services, custom-engineered water treatment systems, and operational support services across the oil and gas, power, refining, mining, food and beverage, and municipal markets.
