UF modules will plug into small RO pressure vessels

German ultrafiltration (UF) specialists inge watertechnologies AG has launched a range of 2.5 and 4 in modules, looking to attract interest from companies in the small-scale treatment system business and suppliers of point-of-entry systems.

The new dizzer P UF unit, with a membrane surface area of between 0.5 m² and 6 m², can be inserted into a standard reverse-osmosis pressure vessel and be immediately ready for operation. Service technicians and maintenance engineers can easily remove the module whenever necessary and simply swap it for a new one.

Dr Peter Berg, chief technology officer at inge, highlights the benefits: “By using the same standard pressure housings that are used for reverse osmosis units, we can provide our customers with entirely new product positioning opportunities in the original equipment and exchange parts business.”

The dizzer P range of compact modules is now available worldwide.
