Back To The Basics will be the theme for the Spring Symposium of the Southeast Desalting Association (SEDA) which will be held in Captiva, Florida, on 13-16 June 2010.
The symposium should prove to be a good introduction to membrane processes for those just getting into the field, while also serving as a refresher and technology update for others. The program will be featuring case histories on some of the area’s membrane plants plus hands-on training at the Island Water Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant.
As always, the program will include several networking/social events including the always enjoyable Operator’s Challenge. SEDA members can watch for the program brochure in the mail. Everyone can download it from the SEDA website. Those registering by 4 June 2010 will save US$ 50.0.
SEDA has also announce that the next SEDA Membrane Operator Certification (MOC) Short School is planned for the Week of 17-21 May 2010 at the City of Pompano Beach WTP. The brochure and registration are available on the SEDA website. Register now – space is limit to 30 attendees.
