A membrane treatment plant is to be part of the renovation and extension of the existing 6 MGD (22,700 m³/d) water treatment plant in City of Delaware, Ohio, USA, which will start in 2012.
According to a report on the ThisWeek Community Newspapers website on 22 December 2011, the project will cost US$ 24- 27 million.
The membrane plant will remove iron and minerals from the city’s groundwater sources, while the existing plant will treat surface water from the Olentangy river.
