June deadline for Paul L Bush award nominations

The Water Environment Research Federation (WERF) in the USA is seeking nominations for the Paul L Busch Award for research that will lead to practical solutions for water quality problems.

Each year, the WERF recognizes individuals and organizations whose efforts have significantly contributed to water quality research and its practical application in the environment. Through research grants and promotion, these awards seek to highlight the scientific breakthroughs that are advancing the water sector and to encourage the development of future innovations.

For the Paul L Busch Award, the WERF Endowment for Innovation in Applied Water Quality Research awards a grant of US$ 100,000 to support an individual or team whose research or work breaks new ground, achieves high-impact results, develops products with practical implications or sets forth a legacy of superior accomplishments.

Nominations must be received by WERF by 1 June 2014.
