Identification of a site for the proposed Eyre Peninsula desalination plant in South Australia has been put back three months, according to an Australian press report.
The Port Lincoln Times quotes an SA Water spokesperson as saying that a preferred site, from the three identified in December 2009, could be identified by March 2011. December 2010 was the date originally scheduled for an announcement.
The plant would have a capacity of 2.2 million m³/year with opportunity for expansion.
