Bavaria-based inga watertechnologies AG announced a € 5 million increase in its capital on 7 July 2009 as a result of new investment.
The ultrafiltration membrane manufactuer received investments led by Baytech Venture Capital GmbH and including Tapprogge Watertech GmbH, Emerald Cleantech Fund I LP, Sustainable Performance Group NV, Siemens Venture Capital GmbH, StoneFund NV and Entrepreneurs Fund LP.
Dr Michael Hochholzer, partner at Munich-based BayTech Venture Capital said, “We have been closely following developments at inge watertechnologies AG for quite some time. Our careful analysis has convinced us that the company’s team, technology and strategy are on the right path. By taking a stake in this experienced and highly-specialised ultrafiltration company we have gained an opportunity to enter the globally expanding water treatment market with all its long-term potential.”
