MD plant to be used for contaminant removal trials
Membrane distillation (MD) is to be used by IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute and the Royal Institute of Technology, both in Stockholm, Sweden, for removal of a large range of contaminants in water and wastewater, notably pharmaceuticals, and also desalination discharges.

IDA announces nine new Gulf task force members

Chennai II desalination to have Norit UF pretreatment
Norit X-Flow is to supply, install, commission and start up the ultrafiltration (UF) pretreatment package for the Nemmeli seawater reverse osmosis plant in Chennai, India. It will be the first advanced membrane desalination pretreatment system in the country.
