Desalination membrane manufacturer NanoH2O Inc has won supply contracts for two seawater desalination projects in Saudi Arabia.
The first project, for phase II of the Jubail desalination plant, was awarded by Al Fatah Water & Power International. NanoH2O’s QuantumFlux reverse-osmosis membranes will produce 13,000 m³/d of desalinated water.
The second project, a desalination plant to be designed by AES Arabia at the King Abdullah University of Science & Technology Research Park, will produce 15,000 m³/d of water.
Both installations are scheduled for 2014.
