Desalination membrane pressure vessels made by Protec Arisawa have been chosen for contracts in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Brazil, the company announced on 14 June 2012.
The first is for Protec Arisawa to supply pressure vessels for the 68,000 m³/d Ghalilah seawater reverse-osmosis desalination plant being built by Aquatech International for the Federal Electricity & Water Authority in UAE.
The second is an order from Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies for pressure vessels for the sulphate removal package system it is providing for a Petrobras floating production storage and offloading vessel in the Santos Basin in Brazil.
