Bermuda-based group acquires 50% of Aqualyng China
Beijing Enterprises Water Group Limited (BEWGL) announced on 9 April 2010 that it had acquired a 50% equity interest in Aqualyng China Limited. Norway-based Aqualyng Holding AS, which has many years of experience in design, construction and installation of seawater desalination facilities, holds the other 50%.

Ex-Christ CEO joins Aquatech as senior VP
The former CEO of Christ Water Technology Group, Dr Karl Michael Millauer, has joined US desalination and water reuse system supplier Aquatech as senior vice-president. Christ was recently acquired by Canadian company GLV.

Daniel Dror, chairman and CEO of American International Industries, Inc (AMIN) announced on 2 March 2010 that discussions with Centriforce Technology Corporation regarding the possible development of a joint venture to operate in the water desalination industry have terminated.
