Middle East Desalination Research Centre (MEDRC) and South Korea’s Agency of Infrastructure Technology Advancement (KAIA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on desalination.
The agreement provides for an exchange of knowledge on water resources management, in particular seawater desalination technology.
The collaboration results from a visit to Oman by public and private sector leaders from South Korea, to promote Korean technology and expertise in infrastructure projects.
KAIA manages a programme of research for Korea’s ministry of land, infrastructure and transport.
