US engineering, science and operations company Woodard & Curran has acquired consulting engineers RMC Water & Environment, after RMC initiated a process to find a buyer.
The move expands Woodard & Curran to operating 48 clean water facilities, and 26 office locations across 12 US states.
RMC has a portfolio of large projects in water recycling, and an established water resource planning and design business. Its past work includes the preliminary designs for Santa Clara Valley Water District’s potable reuse system.
The two firms will begin integrating immediately, and RMC will operate as a co-branded entity in 2017, transitioning to operating as Woodard & Curran in 2018.
