Experienced SWRO desalination engineer joins GHD

Australian consultant GHD has recently appointed professional engineer and marine biologist Erik Tynes, as a senior process engineer in the company’s Perth office.

Tynes, licensed in California and Florida, is a “hands on” process engineer with excellent seawater reverse-osmosis design and commissioning experience in the USA and Caribbean. He also had major input to the design and commissioning of the Luggage Point Advanced Water Treatment Plant in Brisbane.

According to Gary Crisp, GHD Global Business Leader and D&WR Editorial Board member, Tynes will complement an already strong desalination, membrane-separation and water-recycling team in GHD’s Perth office as the consultant is gearing up for a host of potential Western Australian desalination projects.
