The WateReuse Research Foundation has appointed professional fundraiser Michael Infurnari as director of development.
With nearly 30 years of fundraising experience, Infurnari previously served at the Institute for Health Technology Studies, the research and education foundation of the Advanced Medical Technology Association in Washington, DC. In his role at the WateReuse Research Foundation, Infurnari will develop philanthropic resources and the fundraising potential of the Foundation, in support of its research mission.
“I’m delighted and honored to join WateReuse because I see a universal cause, a compelling need, and vast potential in advancing water recycling and desalination and their benefits to communities, industries, and humanity,” said Infurnari.
“We look forward to significantly expanding our research portfolio, in service to our subscribers, but also because water scarcity issues will be prominent on everyone’s agenda over the next five to ten years,” said Wade Miller, WateReuse executive director. “Part of our strategic plan calls for a strengthening of resources so that we can continue to be impactful, since we’re the only organization dedicated to water recycling and desalination solutions.”
