The WateReuse Association (WRA) and the International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) have announced a webcast discussing the various applications of UV technologies for water reuse purposes, including disinfection (inactivation of pathogens) and destruction of chemical constituents.
The webcast, on 3 May 2012, will provide perspectives from a leading consulting engineering firm, a manufacturer and a utility. Technology trends will be highlighted, along with the issues learned from the largest UV/Oxidation installation for groundwater replenishment worldwide.
Speakers will be: Dr Katherine Bell, CDM Smith; Adam Festger, TrojanUV; and Mehul Patel, Orange County Water District.
