A call to action for all water industry leaders about water reuse will be the subject of a webcast to be presented by the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the WateReuse Association on 23 February 23 2011.

The webcast will highlight key recommendations from water utilities and industry leaders around the world. Speakers will include: Brian Good, director of operations, Denver Water, Colorado; Dr Joseph Jacangelo, vice-president, MWH Global; and Michael Wehner, assistant general manager, Orange County Water District, California.

The organizers say that participants will:

  • Learn about the global dialogue on water-reuse issues.
  • Discover water-reuse information resources.
  • Identify industry experts through professional associations.
  • Evaluate reuse project elements that can be implemented locally.
