Bruno Steis, has replaced Wolfgang K Distler as the chief executive office of inge watertechnologies GmbH, the company announced on 18 May 2009.
Steis left Siemens Venture Capital GmbH (SVC) one year ago to join the executive board of inge and has now taken the helm of the ultrafiltration technology company. Steis spent nine years at SVC as an investment partner specialising in environmental and water treatment technologies.
Wolfgang K Distler, who turns 60 next year, has taken the decision to leave the executive board, though he will be continuing to assist inge watertechnologies AG in an advisory capacity.
The fields of technology, development and production will continue to be the responsibility of Dr Peter Berg, the co-founder of inge, who has held the post of chief technology officer from the beginning.
