Montreal-based ProSep Inc announced in early November that its majority owned South Korean joint venture ProSep Kolon Co Ltd had been awarded two contracts for seawater filtration and mercury removal for liquid natural gas platforms off the coast of Australia.
The contracts, worth Can$ 12 million (US$ 12 million), are for Korean engineering companies.
ProSep says that its seawater treatment and water injection technology is a highly efficient alternative to traditional system designs. Designed and delivered as a complete and customized solution, it typically includes membrane ultrafiltration, sulphate removal and vacuum deaeration.
