NZ army uses RO system for earthquake victims

The New Zealand army reported on 25 February 2011 that its engineers have established two water production facilities in Christchurch to support people affected by the earthquake.

The army equipment in New Brighton is a reverse-osmosis system that can produce potable water from saltwater sources at short notice and in many different environments. Its capacity is 2,000 L/h.
