California-based nanocomposite membrane manufacturer NanoH2O announced another addition to its management team on 18 January 2011.
Kyle MacDonald has been named vice president of operations working alongside Barry Fischer, director of manufacturing and Freidoon Rastegar, director of engineering.
MacDonald’s appointment follows the introduction on 12 January of John Markovich as chief financial officer. She holds a PhD in chemistry and brings almost 20 years of manufacturing management experience from senior level positions at Polaroid Corporation, most recently serving as senior vice president and general manager of the Instant Imaging business unit.
“We are excited to expand our manufacturing team with experts who bring a wealth of experience and leadership in reverse osmosis membrane and roll-to-roll coating manufacturing,” said Jeff Green, CEO of NanoH2O. “NanoH2O is poised for aggressive growth as we penetrate the desalination market with our innovative membrane technology. The leadership of these three individuals will ensure long-term operational excellence and stability.
