The Levant Desalination Association (LDA) has announced that its first conference will be on 28- 29 September 2010, a week before the European Desalination Society’s event in neighbouring Israel.
The conference, which will focus on Water Reuse and Desalination: Experience and Opportunity is the first in a series of events addressing desalination and water reuse that will be produced by the LDA in the region. This first conference will be structured with expert presentations and an open forum to encourage lively interaction with all who attend. All presentations will be available in proceedings.

The conference is being organized in a strategic partnership with the International Desalination Association and the Network of Syrian Scientists, Technologists & Innovators Abroad, under the patronage of HE Mohammed Naji Otri, prime minister of Syria. Location will be the Cham Palace, Damascus, Syria.
