The Puron® HF module, the latest evolution of submerged hollow-fiber ultrafiltration technology from Koch Membrane Systems, will be on show at WEFTEC 2012, the 85th Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition & Conference in New Orleans during 1‑3 October 2012.
The HF module is designed for tertiary treatment, high-solids water applications, reverse-osmosis pretreatment and surface-water treatment. Based on the same single-header, central aeration design as the KMS Puron MBR module, the HF module produces consistent, high-quality effluent that meets or exceeds most regulatory requirements.
With a packing density increase of more than 44% and robust PVDF fibers, the PURON HF offers a reduced system footprint, high flux and lower capital costs.
