Japanese membrane technology company Kubota Corp is discussing potentially opening a research, development and manufacturing facility in the city of Canton, between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, Ohio.
According to CantonRep.com on 9 November 2011, Mayor William J Healy II was leaving that day for Japan to meet with Kubota officials.
Kubota is currently working on a pilot project at the Canton sewage treatment plant. The company manufactures membrane bioreactor systems for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.
