The WateReuse Association (WRA) has issued a call for abstracts for its first Industrial Reuse Specialty Conference.
The event will be held in Long Beach, California, on 9-10 December 2013.
WRA is “strongly encouraging” industrial users of municipally treated recycled water and those performing on-site reuse or internal recycling to submit accounts of their facilities including discussions of sustainable policies and initiatives as well as technology profiles. Descriptive “lessons-learned” and best practice presentations are invited; case studies and detailed technical submissions are also welcome.
Case studies can showcase water management practices, new facilities or technologies, water use improvements and upgrades, and process optimizations.
Abstracts are due by 3 May 2013. Further details and a list of topics are available from the WRA website.
