HTI’s Lambert gets IDE Americas command

Desalination contractor and system provider IDE Technologies Ltd announced on 12 September 2012 the appointment of Mark Lambert as chief executive officer of IDE Americas.

With more than 30 years of experience as a senior-level executive and expertise in the water, renewable energy and environmental services industries, Lambert replaces Kent Turner, former general manager of IDE Americas, who is going into private business.

Prior to joining IDE Technologies, Lambert was vice president of corporate development at Hydration Technology Innovations, leading corporate business development and strategic consulting initiatives, including investment evaluations, merger and acquisition activities, and the development of business platforms for expansion into new markets. He also served as managing partner of Water Industry Solutions LLC, where he achieved a total merger and acquisition value of US$ 50 million over a two-year period.

In addition, Lambert was chief operating officer of Test America, an environmental testing firm, where he was responsible for the profit and loss management of the analytical testing division, with annual revenue of US$ 350 million and 2,500 employees.

“With his proven track record of success in the management, growth and profitability of water and environmental organizations, Mark will take our company to the next level in North America,” said Avshalom Felber, CEO of IDE Technologies Ltd. “As we grow our business in North America, Mark’s experience with strategic planning, business development and marketing leadership will prove invaluable to us in this key market.

“We are grateful to Kent for his contributions to IDE over the last 2 years, and thank him for establishing the company’s presence in this market.”
