A 5,000 m³/d nanofiltration water treatment plant is to be provided for the city of Saint-Tite, Quebec, Canada, by H2O Innovation Inc.
The contractor will design, assemble, deliver and install the plant, which will have multi‑media prefiltration and a surface‑water feed. Commissioning is planned for summer 2013.
A second contract, among a number of jobs totalling Can$ 3.7 million (US$ 3.58 million), announced by H2O Innovation on 6 June 2012, is for a containerized water-treatment system for the village of Spencerville, Ohio, USA. The reverse-osmosis (RO) system will produce 2,458 m³/d of drinking water from iron-containing well water.
Under other smaller contracts, the company will manufacture and deliver smaller RO systems to industrial end-users in the United States and Canada.
