Two German companies that have been aiding the Clean Drinking Water For All (CDWA) initiative to improve Pakistan’s drinking water have donated equipment in the light of the country’s catastrophic flooding.
Pump manufacturer KSB, which has been successfully doing business in Pakistan through a subsidiary for decades, placed an initial order prior to the flooding with membrane manufacturer inge watertechnologies AG for 800 ultrafiltration (UF) modules to equip its new treatment plants.
Now, KSB is now donating to CDWA the construction of a further five plants, which inge watertechnologies AG will be equipping – at no charge – with UF modules. This will enable a further 20,000 L/d of clean drinking water to be produced
