FO pilot plant could follow HTI Dubai link-up

Forward-osmosis (FO) system manufacturer Hydration Technology Innovations LLC (HTI) has signed an international distribution, services and cooperation agreement for FO technology with Future Technologies LLC of Dubai. Future Technologies will distribute HTI’s FO OsMem™ membrane technology for industrial applications.

A pilot plant is currently under discussion for dispatch into the Middle East.

Arizona-based HTI supplies FO technology to customers in applications that include oil and gas exploration, biofuels, landfills, chlor-alkali, food-processing, methane digesters and membrane bioreactors.

Future Technologies is a specialized technology and solutions provider for clean technologies in water and energy. The company’s solutions combine advanced technologies (such as FO) with their high-quality engineering, regional expertise and committed full lifecycle service.
