San Antonio Water System (SAWS) has featured its brackish-water reverse-osmosis desalination project as one of the headlines on its newly redesigned website.
The site www.saws.org has a more modern feel and user-friendly navigation.
Visitors will notice several current news stories prominently featured on the homepage, with information about important developments such as new water supplies, infrastructure improvements, conservation programs and customer support.
The site will continue to evolve in the months ahead, including the addition of more social media tools and engaging videos to better tell the stories that affect San Antonio water consumers. Content is also continually being analyzed and updated to provide readers with the most up-to-date information.
San Antonio is the venue for the next American Membrane Technology Association/American Water Works Association joint membrane conference in February 2013. The deadline for abstracts is today, 16 July 2012.
