Aquatech supplies evaporator to Madagascar mine

Aquatech International Corporation announced in December 2008 an order from SNC-Lavalin Inc, Canada, for design, manufacture and supply of a Spray-Film evaporator to concentrate a process stream in a Madagascar mining project containing nickel-sulphate.

This equipment was in the final phase of shipment in December.

In 2007, SNC-Lavalin as agent for Ambatovy Minerals SA and Dynatec Madagascar SA nickel-cobalt mining and processing project, awarded Aquatech a contract for the design, manufacture and supply of a 12,380 gpm (2800 m³/h) clarifier, a 3,080 gpm (700 m³/h) ion-exchange demineralization system and 3,080 gpm (700 m³/h) iron-removal filters for the Ambatovy project.
