Aquatech plant to treat three different sources
14 Oct 08 by desalination
A complex water treatment system, including a high-efficiency reverse-osmosis (HERO) system is to be delivered in 2009 for the Hawaiian Electric Company’s 110 MW simple-cycle biofueled powerplant at the Campbell Industrial Park.
Aquatech International Corporation, will be providing 600 gpm media filters, a 400 gpm seawater RO system, a 300 gpm HERO system, a second-pass 300 gpm RO system and a 300 gpm mixed-bed system.
The system design offers optimum use of components while treating three different feed waters, saline ground water, tertiary-treated grey water and potable city water with high silica.
