ALADYR affiliates to International Desalination Association

The Asociación Latinoamericana de Desalación y Reuse del Agua (ALADYR) has become the newest affiliate organization to join the International Desalination Association (IDA), bringing to 15 the number of regional and association IDA affiliates around the world.

ALADYR was founded in November 2010 during the International Seminar on Desalination held in the city of Antifogasta, Chile. Its mission includes promoting, protecting and developing the engineering, construction, application and development of technologies, equipment and materials for desalination and water materials, as well as promoting knowledge-sharing, education, training and professional development of its members.
