German chemical giant BASF announced on 30 September 2013 the successful closing of the transaction to divest its subsidiary Industrial Water Management France SAS, headquartered in Lyon, France, to Degrémont, a subsidiary of Suez Environnement.
Degrémont will look to further expand the service-oriented industrial water management business and give the ex-BASF employees a long-term perspective.
BASF‘s Water Solutions business remains focused on offering a comprehensive range of water treatment chemicals and membrane filtration technology for the industrial and municipal waste water treatment sector,
