The International Desalination Association (IDA) has extended the deadline for submitting abstracts for consideration in the technical programme for the 2017 IDA World Congress in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The new deadline is 11:59pm (EDT) next Tuesday, November 15, 2016.
Topics include seawater and brackish water desalination; desalination and water reuse in industrial applications; emerging and advanced technologies; operation of desalination and water reuse plants; desalination and renewable energy; and desalination and the environment. The 2017 IDA World Congress is happening on October 15 to 20, 2017, at the Sheraton World Trade Centre in Sao Paulo. The event theme, Ensure Your Water Future, underscores the importance of water reuse and desalination in ensuring a sustainable water supply, as the world faces the challenges of increasing water scarcity, climate change, and growing demand for water.
