Water. desalination + reuse, and the Price Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water (PSIPW), present ‘The Power of Creativity in Water Science and Technology,’ a specially curated webinar on the role of creativity in water science. PSIPW prize winners and leaders in the field of water science will discuss their work and the role that creativity has played in their discoveries. Confirmed speakers include;
- Dr Anthony Fane introduces a new membrane technology that combines forward osmosis with a reverse osmosis-like inner selective layer, and a previously undiscovered, positively charged nanofiltration-like outer selective layer to reduce the energy required for water treatment by membrane processes
- Dr Rita Colwell and Professor Shafiqul Islam present their work using satellite data to predict cholera outbreaks.
