OC desalination slant-well testing to start
Testing of Phase 3 of the South Orange Coastal Ocean Desalination Project in Southern California will begin in the next few weeks, according to the Municipal Water District of Orange County (MWDOC), which held a public open day at the test site on Doheny State Beach on 12 May 2010.

First indigenous UF plant to open in South Africa in May

Pretreatment course scheduled by EDS for May 2010
The European Desalination Society (EDS) on 15 January 2010 announced a four-day course on Pretreatment, membrane fouling and scaling to be held in Genoa, Italy, on 31 May – 3 June 2010.
