B&V chief named to WERF research council

Dr Terry Johnson, senior vice president for Black & Veatch’s global water business, has been appointed to the US Water Environment Research Foundation’s (WERF) Research Council.

Elected by WERF’s board of directors, Johnson will serve in the “Consulting Sector” role, where he will help shape and define future research areas for the organization.

With Black & Veatch since 1969, Johnson has approximately 40 years of experience designing municipal and industrial wastewater treatment facilities. Johnson’s 3-year term with the WERF Research Council will begin January 2010.
