Evoqua adds to ultrafiltration line

Evoqua Water Technologies has added a new ultrafiltration system to its Memcor product line that enables customers to design submerged membrane systems with the lowest cost of ownership in the membrane industry the company claims.

The new product - Memcor CSII Ultrafiltration System - includes double-ended filtration that reduces backwash aeration energy by 20%.  Evoqua's proven module design enables customers either to reduce the plant footprint or to deploy the new space and increase capacity.

"The Memcor CSII Ultrafiltration Systemwill help municipalities drive down ownership costs of submerged membrane filtration and allow them lower-cost capacity expansion, or reduce footprint by up to 30%" said vice president of Evoqua's Memcor Products, Ben Soucy.
