US National Database of Water Reuse Facilities updated

The WateReuse Association announced on 3 February 2009 the release of a new version of the National Database of Water Reuse Facilities (NDWRF), a comprehensive web database of US water reuse facilities and programs.

The database is available to professionals, regulators, educators, researchers and interested citizens and will serve as an industry benchmark. It is segregated into key topic areas including Utilities, Facilities, Treatment Technologies and End Use with the capability to query information by individual states as well as nationwide.

The NDWRF was developed through a WateReuse Foundation-sponsored research project, with in-kind support from 26 major reuse facilities nationwide. The database is maintained by the WateReuse Association. Its homepage is at nwrdb.watereuse.org
