Rabie takes charge of KMS technology worldwide

Dr Hamid R Rabie has been promoted by Koch Membrane Systems (KMS) to the newly created role of chief operating officer, the company announced on 29 September 2010.

Rabie joined KMS earlier this year as senior vice president of technology. He will now be responsible for all aspects of KMS‘ worldwide technology, product development, manufacturing, process engineering, supply chain and purchasing. In his new role he will report directly to KMS president, David H Koch.

“Dr Rabie has an international reputation as a leading expert in the field of membrane manufacturing and membrane bioreactors,” said Koch. “Since joining KMS, Dr Rabie has taken a leadership role in numerous critical business, operations and technology initiatives to help achieve the goal of transforming KMS into the world’s leading membrane firm.”
