Pflugerville location for SCMA membrane workshop

An introduction to the use of membrane technology in water and wastewater treatment is being offered in a Texas workshop being held by the South Central Membrane Association (SCMA) on 9 February 2012.

To be held at the City of Pflugerville's Central Wastewater Treatment Plant, the workshop will include both classroom and in-plant sessions.

Starting with theory, uses, types, styles and performance of membrane separation systems, the programme moves on to membrane water chemistry and membrane pretreatment. After lunch, the workshop will look at troubleshooting, cleaning and sanitizing, as well as data collection and normalization.

It will conclude with a plant tour and training.

Registration may be made through the SCMA website.
