Papers invited for 2013 AWWA/AMTA event

With the 2012 AWWA/AMTA Membrane Technology Conference under way this week in Phoenix, Arizona, a call for papers has been issued for next year's event in Texas.

The 2013 Membrane Technology Conference & Exposition will be held in the Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio during 25‑28 February 2013.

Organised jointly by the American Water Works Association and the American Membrane Technology Association, the three-day program of technical presentations and posters will cover the following topics:

·Membrane facility planning, management and regulations
·Membrane filtration applications
·Brackish water applications
·Seawater reverse-osmosis desalination applications
·Specific and multi-contaminant removal applications
·Wastewater treatment and reuse
·Pretreatment, post-treatment and blending
·Concentrate treatment, recovery and disposal
·Water supply, intakes and outfalls
·Regional issues and applications of membrane technologies
·New membrane technology and innovations
·Research forum
·Student forum
·Other topics
