KAPP is seeking submissions from firms to handle feasibility studies, financing, and tendering - including preparing the request for qualification documents - for the public-private partnership (PPP) projects.

KAPP, with the Kuwait Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW), issued a call for expressions of interest on the two schemes in July 2018.

Az Zhour North phase two and three covers a plant of 2,700 MW and 165 MIGD (750,105 m3/d) of desalinated water. Al Khairan phase one is for a plant of 1,800 MW and 125 MIGD (568,261 m3/d).

The deadline for submissions is 7 March 2019.
